The innovative chip ejector with excellent chip removal through increased air flow and innovative air guidance banishes blockages caused by wet shavings to the past! It was the development of the 2700 W motor that made it possible to realise a 320 mm planing width with an alternating current motor.
The solid cast construction weighs just 14 kg thanks to its consistent lightweight design.
As with most MAFELL machines, the intelligent control electronics keep watch in the background. For soft start and constant speed under load, as well as for a machine-friendly speed reduction when idling and for overload protection.
The highly effective tool brake stops the planing shaft in seconds after switching off. A detail, but important for your safety, even after planing.
